Magnetic MRO attends Orbis Charity Gala to support the Flying Eye Hospital
Magnetic MRO, a global provider of Total Technical Care for aircraft operators and lessors, is proud to announce that the company was one of the donators at this year’s Orbis Charity Gala, which took place at The Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore on March 28th, 2019. By taking up a table at the charity gala along with other companies, Magnetic MRO supports the Orbis Flying Eye Hospital charity project in the organization’s effort to improve the access of quality eye care services across Vietnam, Myanmar and Southeast Asian countries. Magnetic MRO’s CEO Risto Mäeots said that the company decided to donate to the cause because it is a great opportunity for aviation industry leaders to give back to those in need. “This idea of an aircraft that carries medical eye care professionals around the world to help people, especially children, with little access to services like these, is really touching,” commented Mäeots. The Orbis Flying Eye Hospital is a hospital with wings that brings together eye care professionals and aviators to give the gift of sight to people in developing countries around the world. The 2019 Orbis Charity Gala brought together aviation industry leaders to raise charity funds in the fight against avoidable blindness in the millions of children around South East Asia.
